Lukang | 2021

Lunar New Year in Taiwan is more than just money in red envelopes or meeting distant relatives at an annual dinner. Just as the Christian faith makes Christmas a family holiday, the Lunar New Year draws on Buddhist and Taoist traditions to bring the family together. The Lunar New Year, or "spring feast," usually falls between January 21 and February 20 each year. This year it took place on February 12 we are in the year of the ox.
